My early studies with Wataru Ohashi, (Shiatsu for health), Judith Lasater, Ph.D., PT (Restorative Yoga) and Ray Long, MD (Scientific Yoga) had a profound impact upon me and influence my practice to this day. Wataru Ohashi predicted that the more society becomes "high tech" the more the need for "high touch", this I know to be true and Judith Lasater impressed upon me the profound power of conscious rest derived from restorative yoga. Finally, through my studies with Ray Long, I discovered the elegance of dissecting the anatomy of yoga postures and the power behind Iyengar yoga.
She is a professional member of the National Ayurvedic Medical Association (NAMA) as well as the American Massage Therapy Association (AMTA).
